~ experience the ride of love with us…

Last December 27, 2008, 4:00PM at Sarangani Highlands Garden was our daughter’s thanksgiving celebration and dedication (equivalent to Christening to the Catholics). Job and I were very happy coz our families and friends were present on this very important occasion. The color motif were red and yellow (to coincide the holiday season). Cache wore a simple dress with baby pink details. The theme was “Thank you Lord for Google Cache:)

It’s 2009…Happy New Year!!!

Happy new year everyone!!! 2009 na, ang bilis talaga ng panahon. Matagal din akong di nakagawa ng post dito. Syempre holiday season kaya medyo na-busy ang beauty ko. :) Kakauwi nga lng namin ni Job at Cache from my parents-in-law’s house. We had our media noche there. Daming food, di namin naubos kainin. Hay, ma-miss ko na naman ang month of December. Masaya talaga pag pasko. I’ll be posting some pics here in my next post. Rest muna ako pra energize uli bukas. :)

Maligayang bagong taon uli sa inyong lahat. Here’s a text from my former boss: “A prosperous new year to you, filled with hope and love and resolve to serve Jesus the best way you can.”

Google Map Reader

Hubby and I have a dream for our little girl… and that is for her to become the best and youngest map reader in the planet :) (talunin namin si Lily na gi-feature sa Oprah, haha). As early as 7 months, we are now teaching her how to locate places/countries in the world map.

Anak, where’s Madagascar?

FOODie

I guess there are people around me who think that I can’t cook. But hey, I’m proud to tell you that I can! At least I get an A rating when it comes to my husband’s taste bud, hehe (lav yah Dabs). I love watching cooking shows (kaya nga fan ako ni Kris eh, hehe), reading cookbooks and browsing recipes from the internet. I even told hubby that I want to to enroll my self in a culinary school or go to a “baking” school.

Well, last night before going to sleep I made a special dessert called mango float, hehe. :) It’s very easy to prepare, no sweat at all. Here’s a pic of my delicious float:

Yummy…I love it!

To add twist to this dessert, I add a little vanilla and mashed ripe mangoes to the milk and cream mixture and chilled it before putting it on top of the graham crackers.
